Sunday, February 26th started as an ordinary day for a hockey family. Kim and Colin woke up in their home, got ready, said goodbye to their dogs, and were off to the rink for a hockey game. On the way home from the game they received the devastating news that their apartment was on fire. Although everyone made it out safely, their two sweet dogs, Lulu and Layla passed away in the fire. If you know this family, you would know these dogs were part of their family and loved so much.
Kim just got settled into her apartment a few months ago, only to have everything she and her son owns taken from them in the fire. It was a total loss and everything is gone. Her son Colin attends Huntley High School and is the goalie of the Kings Varsity Hockey team. Kim is involved in the Willow Creek Church and her community. She is always the first one to help anyone in need and now it's our turn. Let's come together and show them they are loved and supported.
Please help these amazing people get back on their feet. They will be grateful for your support and love during this difficult time.
Coach James has supported our players and families and now its time to return that support.
James was diagnosed in early 2023 with throat cancer and is currently on his chemo and radiation journey.
Please see his GoFundMe account for all updates.
Hello everyone, this is Aileen and I am married to the wonderful James Hultberg. Our family has been blindsided by James receiving a diagnosis of cancer. In preparation for what will be the loss of work and medical bills I wanted to start this fundraiser in support of this man that has endlessly put his family and others first.
