Safe Sport Training

For those players that are 17 and up you will need to complete a MANDATORY SAFE SPORT training before the first practice. Please make sure your player completes this training as soon as possible. Here is a link to the training: https://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining

Player will need their USA Hockey Number to complete the training. They will need to click forgot Password on the login page to get started.

Once you click the above link, the sign-in page will open and you will need a USA Hockey username and to create a new password. 

Select forgot username, if you do not have your username yet. Enter the requested information; an email will be sent with the username to your email that was used when registering for your membership. 

If you have your username and need to create a password, select forgot password and follow these steps: 

1. Leave the Username blank and enter email address you used when registering for membership, select send verification code
2. Check your email to receive verification code from Microsoft; Subject: Member Services, USA Hockey Account email verification code
3. Enter the verification code, select on Verify Code button, continue
4. Enter your Username and email, continue
5. Create a password, continue
6. Congratulations, your account is now ready for use. Keep this username and password as it will be your lifetime log-in for USA Hockey. 

First time users in training, the system takes a few minutes to create your profile with the U.S. Center for SafeSport. Upon log-in, the button to access training will be grey, wait for it to process or refresh the screen in 5 minutes to activate the button to proceed to the training.  

**Coaches and Volunteers can utilize the Safe Sport Training link to complete the required training. You may need to complete a background screening as well. The registrar will let you know if you need to do this.
